Company Description Skyway Aviation Services, Inc., based in Tampa, Florida, is an FAA Part‑135 certified jet charter and aircraft management operator serving clients across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Role Description This is a full-time, HOME BASED! Citation CJ3 PIC role The Citation CJ3 Pilot is responsible for safely operating the CJ3 aircraft for charter and medical flights, including pre-flight planning, route selection, fuel calculations, weather analysis, and completion of all required checklists. The pilot conducts thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, monitors aircraft performance during flight, and adheres to all FAA Part‑135 regulations and company SOPs. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with dispatch and operations, communicating with ATC, ensuring passenger safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate flight logs and documentation. The role also involves ongoing training, participation in safety programs, and collaboration with maintenance teams to report and follow up on aircraft issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in jet operations, with strong proficiency in Citation CJ3 or similar light jet aircraft, including IFR and night operations.

• Thorough knowledge of FAA Part‑135 regulations, airspace rules, and standard operating procedures, with a demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.

• Strong flight planning and cockpit management skills, including weather interpretation, navigation, fuel management, and checklist discipline.
\n
• Professional communication and customer-service skills to interact effectively with passengers, crew, dispatch, ATC, and maintenance personnel.
\n
• Ability to work collectivly in a remote environment, make sound decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing schedules and mission types.
\n
• Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Commercial Pilot certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings; current First or Second Class medical certificate.

• Preferred: Prior Part‑135 experience, time in type on Citation CJ3, and experience with charter or medical flight operations.
\n
• Willingness to participate in recurrent training, safety programs, and continuous professional development to maintain high operational standards.
