Job Description

We're looking for an experienced CNC Mill Programmer to join our growing team in Arvada, CO. We're investing in our equipment, technology, and people as we continue to expand our capabilities in aerospace and defense manufacturing.

We work across multiple industries, with aerospace and defense representing the majority of our business and serving as a primary focus for future growth. With plans to double in size over the next four years and pursue additional acquisitions, we're building a team of skilled people who want to grow with us and help shape the future of our operation.

We value people who take pride in their work, think critically, and look for ways to make things better. We're building a culture around a winning attitude, accountability, teamwork, and results. If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and embracing new technology, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Program and run CNC mills, taking parts from engineering prints through finished production.
  • Develop and optimize toolpaths for precision components with tight tolerances.
  • Support 3-axis, 4-axis, 3+2-axis, or simultaneous 5-axis machining, depending on your experience.
  • Collaborate with machinists, quality personnel, and operations to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times, improve machine efficiency, lower costs, and increase productivity.
  • Help implement new technology, automation, and process improvements.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and workmanship in a precision manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For

  • CNC milling programming experience in a technical, precision machining environment.
  • Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, 3+2-axis, or true simultaneous 5-axis programming.
  • Mastercam experience preferred, with Mastercam 2026 experience a plus. Other CAM software will be considered.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and develop effective machining strategies.
  • A track record of improving processes, machining efficiency, productivity, or overall shop performance.
  • An open mind toward new technology, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • A solid work history and the ability to work well with coworkers and leadership.

Aerospace and defense experience, complex tight-tolerance machining, and a background in quality or CMM inspection are strong pluses.

Our Equipment & Environment

Our shop offers modern machining capabilities, including Doosan, Mazak, and Okuma 5-axis machines and Haas UMC machines with 3+2 capabilities.

We operate in an aerospace-focused environment with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems and ITAR requirements. We're continuing to invest in technology and automation, including AI-driven improvements to processes such as estimating and inventory management.

Compensation & Schedule

Compensation is based on your programming experience and capabilities:

  • 3-axis programmers: $40+ per hour
  • 4-axis and 3+2 programmers: Around $45 per hour
  • True simultaneous 5-axis programmers: $50–$65 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 6:30 AM–4:30 PM
  • Optional Friday overtime
  • Solid benefits package
  • Modern equipment and well-maintained facilities
  • Opportunities to grow with an expanding company

Additional Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to meet ITAR requirements.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug test.

Build What's Next With Us

We're growing, investing in better technology, and continuing to expand our capabilities. We're looking for people who take ownership of their work, bring ideas to the table, and want to be part of a team that's moving forward.

If you're an experienced CNC Mill Programmer looking for a strong team, modern equipment, and an opportunity to make an impact, we'd like to connect.
