About the Position

Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity in Southwest Wisconsin

Build your orthopedic career with an independent health system expanding its orthopedic program and offering meaningful room to grow your practice. You'll work alongside an orthopedic surgeon across clinic, OR, and inpatient care, with structured mentorship available for new graduates. A four-day workweek, telephone-only call, and strong procedural volume create an appealing balance of hands-on experience and predictability.

What We Offer You:

  • 4-Day Workweek : Build your own clinic schedule with 60-minute new-patient visits and 30-minute follow-ups, plus telephone-only ED call with no in-person call.
  • Hands-On Orthopedic Practice : Manage new and follow-up patients, perform injections, aspirations, casting, splinting, and fracture care, and first assist in the OR two days per week.
  • Established Surgical Volume : Join a busy joint replacement program performing 400+ total knees and 65+ total hips annually, with additional patient demand currently referred outside the area.
  • Dedicated Support and Mentorship : Work directly with an orthopedic surgeon who will serve as your mentor, with a structured 90-day orientation for new graduates and opportunities for future leadership.
  • $10K Sign-on Bonus and Strong Benefits : Receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 in relocation assistance, 24 days of PTO, 5 CME days, $3,000 annual CME, malpractice coverage, and retirement benefits.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program with applicable NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC certification.
  • Wisconsin licensure and DEA registration preferred by the start date, but not required.
  • Orthopedic and surgical first-assist experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.

Build Your Life in Southwest Wisconsin:

Southwest Wisconsin offers small-town living with affordable housing, strong schools, and close-knit communities. Scenic ridges, trout streams, trails, and river valleys provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, while a regional hub with an airport, shopping, and additional amenities is within driving distance. It's a setting that offers room to grow professionally while maintaining more space for life outside of work.

Build your orthopedic career with hands-on experience, dedicated mentorship, and room to grow into the role.
